Discovery engages global causes through its partnership with Project Hope Worldwide. We currently have projects in Uganda, Nicaragua, and Mexico. In each one of our global causes we are developing educational, nutritional, medical, vocational and spiritual programs. As we serve the marginalized and their communities, the gospel is seen as well as heard.

Opportunities to 
Go and Serve

Juarez, Mexico

This 5-day trip to Juarez, Mexico is the perfect trip for the first timer or seasoned traveler. Through ministry partners located in the Colonias outside of Juarez, you can serve through construction projects, work in our medical clinic, go on prayer walks or serve in outreach ministries. Teams will enjoy western style accomodations at our ministry partner compound and authentic cuisine. While in Juarez, you will meet the children in the Mexico Hope Project and see the change that sponsorship makes. Team sizes vary and custom trips are available.


Cost – Approximately $450-500 includes ground transportation, lodging, meals and more. If you choose to fly, you are in charge of your own arrangements.


Sign-up – Non-refundable deposit of $100 is due at sign-up. Payments for the balance of the cost will be communicated.


Meetings – 2 mandatory meetings for all participants.

Lira, Uganda

This 14-day trip to Uganda will be an experience you will never forget. Calo Me Lare “Village of Redemption” located outside of Lira is home to our Uganda Hope Project where nearly 100 orphans are cared for and over 200 receive an education. Teams will enjoy western style accommodations at Margarita Palace Hotel in Lira. Team members will serve alongside our staff and children through VBS, various clinics, service projects and hut to hut evangelism. Finish your Team Trip with a relaxing two day stay at the beautiful Paraa Safari Lodge located on the Nile River. Team sizes vary and custom trips are available.

Leon, Nicaragua

This 7-day trip to Nicaragua will immerse you in the beautiful local culture while allowing you to directly serve the children, families and community of the Tomas Borge District with your specific gifts and talents. Teams will enjoy western style accommodations in historic Leon. Throughout this trip, teams will grow together and grow spiritually as they see God’s hand working through the staff and the children of our Hope Project together. Finish your Team Trip with a historical tour of Leon, ash-boarding or a day of shopping in Grenada. Team sizes vary and custom trips are available.

Upcoming Trips

Each year, there are multiple trips to these projects giving people opportunities to utilize their gifts, talents and passions. Please understand that there is a great amount of detail and planning that goes into each of our trips and interest meetings and final registration for these trips opens and closes at specific times each year. These are communicated in our weekly gatherings, by email and social media.
