Lead Pastor

Scott arrives at Discovery Church with a passion to help people know and follow Jesus.  He has a powerful gift of connecting with people relationally, making Scripture come alive in his teaching, and challenging people to pursue Jesus in a way that transforms their lives and the lives of those around them!

Scott holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Oral Roberts University. He has been married to his wife, Rondi, for 32 years. They have 2 beautiful daughters. Mason (married to Benji) lives and works in the Atlanta area and Bailey is a recent graduate from Oral Roberts University.

In his free-time, Scott loves listening to AND playing music (MAD drummer skillz), going on walks with his wife, cheering on the Buffalo Bills and reading a good book at a GOOD coffee shop. Just for fun, ask him sometime what constitutes a GOOD coffee shop! :)
